I'm Linda Sacketti
Thank you for visiting my web site.
I'm a self-taught artist and I have been painting all my life. Art is my passion and now my full time career.
I love to travel and when I do, I take many, many photographs. Then when I return home to my studio, I take my photos and create my art. My media of preference is acrylic paint on canvas. Acrylic paint gives me more freedom than oils and I don't need to use any linseed oils or solvents.
When I create my art, I like to convey the feeling of the place or object I am painting. I like to use bright colors and I'm inspired by everything in nature. Art is emotional and I strive to stir the emotions of my audience when they look at my art. I hope they will touch you as well.

Inspiration
I am inspired by the artists of the impressionism era. Van Gough is my number one favorite artist.
Techniques
I use traditional techniques and paint with brushes and high quality artist acrylic paints. My canvases are of museum quality.
career highlights
I have participated in many art shows and fairs over the years where I have sold many of my original works. In May 2021, I was invited to exhibit my abstract painting "Tree of Life" in a exhibition in Soho NYC.
